Verbier Ski Events Culture Mountain

Music defines the seasons in Verbier. Since 1994, classical music has resonated throughout the Bagnes resort every summer with the Verbier Festival. This annual event cultivates sharing and meetings between great masters and young musicians worldwide. This is a truly unique and welcoming experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Polaris: an electro music festival to open the winter season in Verbier

Introduced in winter 2015, the Polaris festival opens the Verbier ski season. Each season has its own style, and this fashionable resort has banked on electro music. This festival represents an unusual event on the European music scene. The 2015 / 2016 edition were already a huge success. More than 5,000 people flocked to the resort to attend sets from some big names in electro music, including Oscar Conway, Adele, Omar-S ou encore Luciano.

A giant dance floor on the ski slopes

Polaris lasts 4 days, from 7 to 10 December 2017. The festival takes place at an altitude of 2200m on the slopes of the Verbier/4 Vallées resort, with its main stage, the Mouton Noir terrace, transformed into a giant dance floor, offering a breathtaking view of the Alps. 4 other stages will be located on the mountainside.

House, techno and high mountains…

This year, Polaris presents more than 40 artists, with international headliners such as Richie Hawtin, Dixon and Luciano. There’s something for every house and techno fan, with the best ambassadors for each genre: minimal techno, radical techno, minimal house, Romanian techno or old school house…

The snow is waiting, so sports enthusiasts can enjoy the party and hit the snowy slopes of the beautiful Verbier/4 Vallées ski resort.
