And believe it or not Verbier is one of the finest hill stations to enjoy the terraces. Indeed, the high plateau of Verbier boasts exceptional sunshine due to its south-west orientation.

So get out of your chalet and come with us and lose track of time, sail… float… facing the most beautiful stage. Sit down, close your eyes and relax. Can you feel the pleasant sunshine caressing your face? Listen to the birds singing and the clinking of glasses against one another. Waiter, a mulled wine please. The imaginary nears perfection … The spectacle is guaranteed …

Full sun on the terraces of Verbier

Here are a selection of terraces, a good start for enjoying the weather anywhere within the Bagnes station.

Classical: Le Vieux Verbier (Old Verbier)

Located at the foot of Verbier’s facilities, this is the ideal terrace to sit in after a good morning or day of skiing. The food is excellent and you will be served like royalty. (see our article on our fine dining favourites…)

Hip: Le Rouge

Le Rouge is probably the most fashionable establishment in Verbier and has one of the most beautiful panoramic terraces. Enjoy after ski parties to the beat of DJs and special guests. A must for people who love partying and luxury.

Luxurious : Chalet d’Adrien

This 5-star hotel was awarded the best hotel terrace in Europe Award by the jury of the Villegiature Awards in 2015. And indeed, you will find more than a breathtaking view – charm, elegance and authenticity characterise this establishment. Enjoy a wonderful brunch every Sunday to savour the sun or the shade of a parasol.

Chalet style: La Marlenaz

The terrace of the Marlenaz is worth it. In fact, you can reach this old barn, renovated with charm either by skiing or by taking a lovely walk on the heights of Verbier. (About ½ hour walking). But you will not regret the trip as the terrace of the Marlenaz is surrounded by nature and overlooks the entire valley, allowing you to enjoy a spectacular view.

Overlooking: le Sonalon

In local patois, Le Sonalon means the place where you can hear the bells of the herds of goats, sheep and calves ringing. Le Sonalon is a small bistronomic restaurant overlooking the resort. The view is spectacular. You can enjoy authentic cuisine with local products in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere!
